New York Times story: Museum Field Trip Deemed Too Revealing

This story sounds like contemporary and ancient art is now again under fire with an art teacher suspended because a student on a school-approved trip to the Dallas Museum of Art glimpsed an "abstract nude sculpture". The Religious Right and the Republican strategy of permeating every level of public office -- starting with school districts -- seems to be taking things to an unfortunate extreme. More...
